Big Carp / Big Buffalo

Starting Septerber 26, 2009, we are implementing a pair of new tournaments to the site.   Running simultaneously will be the Big Carp and Big Buffalo tournament.   

These are our most ambitious tournaments yet, but should be a lot of fun, and generate some serious competition. 

Entry fees are $50 for the Big Carp pot and $50 for the Big Buffalo pot.  Total payout is based on these fees.  Payout total is 90% of all entry fees, with 10% going to administration (this includes the website itself, and paypal fees).    

This will run much like normal TXFishes tournaments with an official image, but will also include a few other requirements for entrants (see rules).  As this is a weight contest, you will be required to weigh all fish, and include 3 photos; a photo of yourself holding the fish, a photo with the length being measured, and a photo with the girth being measured.  Also required will be a code unique to each angler written on the official image. 

We will have a host of prizes for the runners up as well.
