Big Carp / Big Buffalo Rules -
- * The contest runs from 2009-09-26 through 2010-03-31 (6 months).
- * The winners will be decided by the largest common carp and the largest smallmouth buffalo.
- * You can enter the contest at any point during the event, however you will not receive your personal code until your fee is paid
- *All entries mustbe posted to the txfishes forums by 11:59PM on 03/31
- * Payout is 90% of entry fees (10% to administration).
- * All fish must be caught in Texas waters.
- * All fish must be landed by rod and reel.
- * Fish must be hooked in the mouth, or mouth area (1 inch is a general guideline).
- * All local laws must be followed.
- * You must hook and fight the fish yourself although someone else is allowed to net your fish.
- * If your photos are not discernable, your fish will not be counted.
- * If the contest image is not clearly visible (in all 3 photos), it will not be counted.
- * If your personal code is not visible in the photos you, it will not be counted
- * The officers of txfishes.com will make all *final* decisions on fish qualification.
- * Entries must include weight, (rounded down to the largest increment on your scale), length, and girth.
- * Weigh sling or net must be deducted from total weight.
- * Weight witnesses are strongly encouraged, but not required.
- * At least 3 photos are required for each entry. Fish with angler, photo of length measurement, and photo of girth measurement. Image and code must be in all 3 (or more photos)
- * Photos must be at least 1024X768. The bigger the better when it comes to verification.
- * Do not crop or blank out backgrounds in photos. At your request we will do this before posting.
- * All uploaded photos become the property of txfishes.com - they may be used on the website.
- * Standard carp care should be followed. Dead or maltreated fish will not be counted.
- * You are responsible for your own actions. We are not responsible for your actions, injuries, or any lack of common sense you may have.
- * Fish caught during other tournaments can be counted (provided the txfishes.com rules are all followed).
- *TXFishes reserves the right to run a polygraph test on winner, entering the contest acknowledges this right.
