Its not 4 inches, no, but I don't think it is confusing; I'll let the Mod decide.
Bret, yea or nay?
p.s. this is easily one of the most colorful fish I've caught. I may catch a few more and put them in my aquarium!

The rules are very clear on this.
There is no reason to even ask.

I agree, very clear. I'll remove my Red Shiner (even though it's clearly a red shiner <mischievous grin> .
I do have a question though; do the fish count if the picture is only a couple of inches on a side?
They are not very clear, and it hinders the fish ID.

Great catches everyone!
I didn't get any new fish this past weekend, but I did catch 3 carp that exceeded my previous PB! Lady Bird Lake rocks!
New PB is now 27 lbs even.
Still to catch for this contest: spotted and alligator gar, grass carp, bowfin, drum, and carpsucker! And anything else I can!

Hey Pondbass, That yellow bullhead you have there is actually a black. Yellows have white whiskers.

Ok, I caught a Mullet in freshwater, there isn't a selection for it in the species pull-down, but it says something about Notes. What notes? I didn't see anyplace else to write something else.

OK, just went over the rules again so I'm going to withdraw the mullet.
"Only fish caught in freshwater (freshwater, and state stocked - landlocked satlwater fish) will be counted."
It wasn't landlocked nor state-stocked.

I spent 15 hours yesterday trying for a bowfin, spotted gar, grass carp, tilapia, blue cat, and yellow cat.
I caught a dozen bluegills and longears (as bait), two largemouths bass, and three commons. Not a bad day, but no help for the contest!
Well done Pondbass! I'm not going to have an opportunity for more fishing before tomorrow.
